So I have been playing the ukulele for the last couple of years. I love the instrument. Of course, I have acquired UAS (Ukulele Acquisition Syndrome) and so far I own 7 instruments. Recently I decided to build a ukulele. I have no power tools and I have no experience with woodworking or instrument building. So this blog is going to be a journal to this process!. So far I have been doing a lot of research on the net. I already belong to Ukulele Underground and I found they have a luthier/builder forum. I have joined the Hana Lima Message Board as well. And of course, I have started to buy some tools and a few books on the topic. More on that at a later post.
I will add some links to sites with info on how to build a ukulele at some point.
